Rules
Rules for this mode
- The snake may cross its own body.
- The outer wall still ends the run.
- A normal red ball adds 1 point and 1 growth section.
- There is no timer.
Tactics
Three useful decisions
- Practise approaching every wall from both directions.
- Use one deliberate input per turn.
- Move back to Classic once wall collisions become rare.
Start
Opening plan
Run wide rectangles close to each edge. Use the mode to learn exactly when a turn must be entered at speed.
Watch for
Common mistake
Forgetting that only the body is harmless. A late boundary turn still ends the run.
Practice
Use three runs for one change
Use the first run to learn the board. Repeat the same opening on the second run. On the third, change only the turn that caused the previous loss. This makes it easier to tell whether the problem was the route or the input.
