What changes
Choosing route safety over distance
Classic asks whether one ball is safe. Red Ball Field asks which of five routes leaves the board in the best shape.
Rules
Rules for this mode
- Five normal red balls stay on the board.
- Walls and your tail remain dangerous.
- Each pickup adds 1 point and 1 growth section.
- A replacement red ball appears after every pickup.
Tactics
Three useful decisions
- Rank targets by exit quality, not distance.
- Finish the current lane before switching targets.
- Use the extra choices to avoid pockets.
Start
Opening plan
Scan all five balls before turning. Take the one already connected to a safe lane and leave an awkward target for a later pass.
Watch for
Common mistake
Changing targets after every turn and turning the body into a zigzag.
Practice
Use three runs for one change
Use the first run to learn the board. Repeat the same opening on the second run. On the third, change only the turn that caused the previous loss. This makes it easier to tell whether the problem was the route or the input.
